ABOUT US
For many years, John and Karen have both worked at a major U.S. consumer products goods company. While Karen primarily handles the sales and marketing efforts for Jean Edwards Cellars, John is very involved with the winemaking decisions and works closely with our winemaking team.
They have eleven vintages of winemaking experience (7 of which were spent as winemakers of a California cabernet sauvignon that was bottled under their own private/house label; and the last 5 vintages as vintners under the Jean Edwards Cellars label). 2004 marked the first public release of Jean Edwards Cellars wines.
The name, Jean Edwards Cellars, is a combination of Karen and John's middle names. Did you notice the picture of the Labrador retriever on the back label? It's a picture of Trouble - Karen & John's twelve year-old chocolate lab.
