PAWS FOR LOVE - Santa Rosa

Our wines were up for bid at the 19th Annual Gala in February to benefit Paws for Love (Santa Rosa). This annual gala raises much needed funds to benefit animals in need and this year's fund raiser helped animals impacted by the recent fires.

PREMIERE NAPA VALLEY:  Napa Valley Vintners
(February, 2018)

Premiere Napa Valley is always an exciting time in the Napa Valley and this year was no exception. Over 1,000 representatives from the wine trade descend on the valley and throughout the week they taste the various lots that will be available at the Auction.  The weather was cold, but it did not dampen the enthusiasm (or partying) that takes place for this special event.

The auction started off a bit slow but as the morning progressed the action picked up to a feverish pace and there was a bidding war on our lot.  Wish all of the competing bidders could have won the lot - but alas that can't happen at PNV - the final and winning bid was placed by Jim and Carrie Cox of Southern Napa Wine in Alabama. Checkout their website - what a beautiful store and we think our auction lot found a great home!

SSHH... can you keep a secret?

We'll be producing a new wine in 2018... a syrah fro Atlas Peak.  More news coming soon but for the time being enjoy the spectacular vineyard views from this site!

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Malbec (plus a 3% dollop of petit verdot) leaps from the glass with exuberant cassis, baked plums and blackberry culies notes plus hints of licorice, dark chocolate, violets and pepper. Medium to full-bodied and solidly constructed in the mouth, it has a firm, grainy backbone and bags of freshness, finishing on a spicy note.  Drink 2017-2026. Issued Date: 10/31/17.

Thanks to one of our customers, we just found out we received our first professional review on our new merlot offering. It's always nice to receive a surprise review (we did not submit the wine) especially when they liked the wine!     Here's what they had to say...

You should only make wines you love to drink...
