Stagecoach Vineyard® is located eight miles up from the valley floor on the eastern mountains framing the Napa Valley. It is a large vineyard with nearly 750 acres planted to over 50 different grapes.
Since 2004, we have sourced our fruit from a premium vineyard block that faces southwest. This area is a bit warmer than other parts of the vineyard with moderate temperatures - it's a sweet spot for cabernet sauvignon with it's marine influence and volcanic red rock soils. The fruit from this area of the vineyard is ripe, bold and concentrated.
Our newest release (2017) exhibits lovely blue fruit with currants and crushed raspberries on the nose. The wine is medium to full body, with firm and chewy tannins - with lots of raspberry and blueberry character on the finish.
